Returns

Our returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange on any equipment.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you originally purchase it. It must also be in the original packaging.  The original Tax invoice will need to be produced as proof of purchase from Beacon Equipment.

Four types of goods sold at Beacon Equipment are exempt from being returned / refunded. These include:

  1. Oil
  2. Fuel
  3. Consumables
  4. Mower blades once used

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds will not be processed if you return your goods back to the manufacturer.  All goods are to be returned to Beacon Equipment.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
We do not offer any refunds on sale items at all, refunds are only offered on full price ticket items.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item.  We do not offer refunds if you just simply “Change your mind”

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Unit 3 / 170 Bannister Road Canning Vale WA 6155.  You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Beacon Equipment is proud to be a West Australian family owned and run business. Our story began in 1992 when Michael and Jan Beacon bought Mowfix Mower and Chainsaw Centre in Canning Vale. Our passion has always been outdoor equipment from stocking the latest chainsaws to ride-on mowers, generators, pressure cleaners and of course lawn mowers in Perth. Over the following 17 years after purchasing the outdoor power equipment company, the expert Mowfix team earned prestigious recognition of being a nationally recognized John Deere and Stihl dealer of the year in Perth. We pride ourselves on our extensive range of products we carry, backed by our fully qualified sales and service team. In 2011 we changed our name to Beacon Equipment as you know us today. We felt this name change would better encompass who we are as a company as our range of products has grown from your everyday lawn and backyard equipment to commercial and industrial power equipment. In 2012 we established the Perth Stihl Shop in Cockburn Central to increase our range as a Stihl specialist in Western Australia & make our services and products more accessible and convenient to our customers. Our Canning Vale and Cockburn Central outdoor power equipment stores are currently run by father and son team, Michael & Andrew Beacon and we can’t wait to share our family business with you!
